As 2021 is nearing an end, it's a great time to hand out awards for memorable moments of the year.
Here's the catch, however - these aren't your usual run-of-the-mill 'boring' awards. We're all aware that Leo Messi is the best player in the world and that sacking Ronald Koeman will quite easily be our win of the year. We wanted a special thing.
If you're a fan of The Office TV series and watched the 'Dundies' episode, you may have guessed what we're up for.
If you've never seen it — no worries. Just prepare for a bunch of the most bizarre awards for things that happened in 2021.
Koeman Quote of the Year
In September, Ronald Koeman said: "Luuk de Jong is more dangerous than Neymar with a cross." How weird was that?
Koeman has since been fired and Luuk is yet to score from a cross.
Transfer Rumour of the Year
In August, CAT Radio claimed that Cristiano Ronaldo wanted to join Barcelona. That would have hurt Madridistas more than Figo moving to Real Madrid in 2000 hurt Barca fans.
Keyboard Warrior of the Year
This prize goes to Miralem Pjanic.
The Bosnian flew away at a safe distance of 2,936km (actual distance between Barcelona and the district of Besiktas in Istanbul) to abuse his former coach Ronald Koeman on Instagram. Shame his 'excuse' looks as lame as his displays for Barca.
Bum Bum d'Or
Lionel Messi's super fan Miss Bum Bum actually did an anal tattoo to celebrate Leo's Copa America win. That tops it all.
If her skin there can stand the process of tattooing, maybe her ass is actually made of gold.
Explainer of the Year
How do you fit Mark Zuckerberg and Luuk De Jong into one sentence? By explaining the Facebook outage in football terms.
That's it, we proudly claim our own award! A bit of vanity but we hope you enjoyed our explanation of what happened. Haha!
Aubameyang Award
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang once suited up for an official event way too casually, breaking the news with his weird look.
Is he Sergino Dest's role model? The American turned up for Leo Messi's farewell press conference as if he had played basketball 10 minutes before that.
Anti-Madridista of the Year
Gerard Pique wins this one hands down. He recently said he'd prefer death to playing for Real Madrid.
Player We Wish to see in Barca Colours
Argentina goalkeeper Emi Martinez!
During Copa America, the Argentine showed how tight his bond with Leo Messi is. He once said he 'would die' for Messi.
The guy isn't just an ultimate s**t-talker who loves a pelvic thrust but also a magnificent goalkeeper.
The Sir Alex Ferguson Gum award
This one goes to Playboy model Luana Sandien who bought Messi's handkerchief full of tears and mucus.
Probably more ridiculous than Sir Alex Ferguson's last gum sold at £390,000 and actually more expensive (£438,000).
Most Jail Cards Used
We don't know how Josep Maria Bartomeu is still running free so we award him this. The guy has a whole pack of 'Get Me Out of Jail' cards!
For all the sins he committed a punishment seems overdue. The man was actually in court but no charge is yet served to him.
Barca fans beware, he wants to run for president again in the future.
