The Dutchman has more important offers from other leagues, including Italy and Turkey. Besides, it isn't ruled out that he will return to PSV.
It has been reported that Barcelona, Sevilla and Cadiz had reached an agreement for De Jong to join the Pirates on loan until the end of the season. The Catalans want to cut Luuk's loan short since Xavi does not count on him.
This term so far, the 31-year-old striker has played 12 games for Barca, half of them from the start, and has scored a goal.
