The Spanish attacker has been named among the forwards who could leave Barca in the summer with 

 said to be interested in his signature. 

However, Ferran has multiple reasons why he wants to stay at Barca. For one he enjoys playing his football in Spain and at one of the biggest clubs at that. 

Secondly, the 23-year-old believes he can fight for his place and get back into 

Finally, the striker is looking forward to having his first proper preseason at Barca. He hasn't done that since he joined Barca as he was recovering from injury last summer. 

Ferran has scored just seven goals and two assists in the 41 games he's played this season. 

It remains to be seen what Barca would do — Sell or Keep?

The English club wants to overhaul their attack with Ferran and 

 identified as their key summer transfer target. 

It is said that Aston Villa will be ready to pay up to €60m to sign Ferran from Barca if the Blaugrana are ready to do business.

Meanwhile, Barcelona sporting director Mateu Alemany will leave the club for Aston Villa in the summer and apparently, Ferran could be one of the Barca players to follow him on his new career trajectory in England.
