La Liga reject goal line technology for next season because of Tebas: explained

There will be no implementation of goal-line technology in La Liga next season, confirms El Larguero.

That is because Javier Tebas and the league committee don’t want to shell out the €3m needed for adding it.

This is a major blow for the league and clubs like Barcelona, who have been troubled by the lack of this technology this season.

It’s still not known why Tebas wants to scrap this technology despite it being so important in the modern-day game.
