Ansu Fati's jersey number at Brighton revealed -- he wore it before

Ansu Fati has been assigned number 31 jersey, Brighton have confirmed.

It was previously reported that the winger will inherit the no.20 shirt - the Premier League club even started selling it at the club's store - but for some reason he was eventually handed the #31.

Ansu wore the no.31 jersey when he was promoted to Barcelona's first team back in 2019. Two years later, he was handed Leo Messi's number ten.

Now that the pressure of wearing the iconic number is off Fati's shoulders, he can work his magic again.
