'Congratulations, fatty': Luis Suarez reacts to Leo Messi equaling his big record

Scoring a stunner against Ecuador on Friday, Lionel Messi not only notched his 65th career free-kick but also equalled Luis Suarez's big record.

With 29 goals each, Leo and Luis now share the stage as the most prolific scorers in South American World Cup qualifiers.

Suarez took to Instagram to send his friend a message.

"How great you are, fatty! I admire you, what you keep doing and demonstrating. Congratulations for tying me," the message reads.

Calling each other "fatty" is an inside joke the two have. Luis congratulated Leo after winning the World Cup in the same manner.
