Barcelona's second captain Marc-Andre Ter Stegen has announced the birth of his second son, Tom.
Ter Stegen shared the big news with an Instagram post showing the goalkeeper holding the hands of his newborn. He captioned the picture, "Welcome to our family, Tom 🤍 01.02.24" This shows the baby was born on Friday.
Ter Stegen has been out with a back injury since November last year but this would be the best way to start the year.
Barcelona were pleased to have the goalkeeper train with their first team on Sunday for the first time since the injury.
Xavi would be pleased to have the German shot-stopper back for good considering his team have only kept 3 clean sheets since he got injured. That's after 17 games in which they conceded 32 goals.
