Was Ter Stegen any good on his return from 3-month injury?

Barcelona have missed the presence of their reliable goalkeeper Marc-Andre Ter Stegen for the better part of the last three months due to a back injury that required surgery.

Thankfully, Ter Stegen was back in goal for Barca's game against Granada wearing the captain's armband in place of Sergi Roberto and Inaki Pena. But sadly Barca dropped points at home again for the second time in their last three games and Ter Stegen failed to keep a clean sheet.

It can be said that Ter Stegen commanded his goal well and distributed his passes with panache. Stats show he touched the ball 45 times during the game with a 90% pass accuracy. The German goalie also made two saves.

However, stats also revealed that Ter Stegen conceded two goals he should've prevented against Granada with a -1.49 goals-prevented ratio.

The eye test tells us that Ter Stegen conceded three goals on his return from injury which isn't a good look for the big man between the sticks.

Inaki Pena has conceded a lot of goals (32) in Ter Stegen's absence, but the German hasn't started well on his return.

Still, we can attest to Ter Stegen's pedigree and reliability which is why Barca will be pleased to have him back, regardless of the scoreline against Granada.
