Top source reveals details of Saudi offer for Ter Stegen

Al Ittihad have made an offer for Marc-Andre ter Stegen, reports Relevo's Jorge Picon.

The goalkeeper is personally wanted by their sporting director, Ramon Planes, who worked at Barca from 2018 to 2021. At Al Ittihad, Ter Stegen could share the locker room with Karim Benzema and N'Golo Kante.

The German feels very comfortable in Barcelona at the moment. However, the Saudi bid may make him re-consider his future. Besides, the Catalans may be forced to make some big sales this summer.

Ter Stegen was the best goalkeeper in Europe last season. The 31-year-old has conceded 20 goals in 21 appearances for Blaugrana this term, keeping nine clean sheets.

The player's current deal with the Catalans expires only in 2028.
