Luis Enrique's stance on returning to replace Xavi revealed

Luis Enrique has no intention of returning to Barcelona to replace Xavi, Diaro Sport say.

The Spanish manager has a solid relationship with PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi and intends to continue his job in Paris next season.

Enrique was always a long shot for Barca as he's doing quite well at PSG where he has a contract until next summer.

Even if Enrique wanted a comeback, Barcelona would have to pay PSG a severance fee and Laporta would want to avoid that.

Enrique resigned his role as Barca coach in 2017 citing the same excuses as Xavi. A year later he became Spain's head coach until his dismissal in 2022.

Barca are said to be looking at other coaches like Roberto De Zerbi, Hansi Flick and recently, Mikel Arteta.
