Frenkie de Jong, Ferran Torres, Joao Felix, Ronald Araujo and Lamine Yamal are all in danger of missing a potential semi-final first-leg in the Champions League if they pick up a yellow against PSG — that's if Barca progress beyond the Parisians on Tuesday.
Each of the five aforementioned players has picked up two yellow cards in the competition this season and would attract a one-game ban if they get another booking.
UEFA rule book states that existing yellow cards are cleared after the completion of the quarter-final. However, players who pick up their third yellow in the quarter-final second leg will miss a potential semi-final first leg.
This rule prevents players from missing the final through suspension [after the quarter-final] as was the case of Xabi Alonso in 2014 for Real Madrid. Still, a player will miss the final if he gets a red card in the semi-final.
Barca will be without Andreas Christensen and Sergi Roberto for their match against PSG as they are serving a one-game ban after picking up three yellows.
