It seems Barca are dismissing the rumours of a potential Xavi sack by making such a special gesture.

However, sources still insist Xavi was uneasy during his speech and the atmosphere remained tense.

Xavi confirmed there will be showdown talks with the club at the end of the season to plan for the future.
