According to Diario AS' Javi Miguel, Barcelona have struck an initial deal with Hansi Flick to take over the managerial role.
The Blaugrana have reached an agreement in principle with Flick. He has verbally green-lit to signing a two-year contract.
This comes after sporting director Deco and Bojan Krkic met with the German coach and his agent in London.
Flick has reportedly been learning Spanish since Xavi's future came under question from January. He feels he's ready to take over the Barca job.
Barca officials are now planning on telling Xavi that he won't continue beyond this deal. The Spaniard is likely to be told of his imminent exit on Monday (May 27) or Tuesday (May 28).
