The difference between Pep and Xavi is that Pep is not playing the true tika taka as we know he has modernised the system to suit the modern game where as Xavi has stayed stuck in the past his game has no structure or set plan the players do not know exactly what to do with the ball do they keep passing it around or going back to the keeper in some games Barca has not even had one shot on target in the first half or any attempt on goal no penetration whatsoever.Pep's system plays between  the lines with intricate passing  and lots of penetration they also keep the ball well unlike Xavi's Barca. Xavi is not ready to coach a big team he still has a lot to learn his ideas are limited.

Pep's tikitaka is better because he has players with killer instinct at his disposal likes of Eto'o messi, villa, pedro, henry, alexis, a prime lewandoski not some tired player we have now, aguero, robben, ribbery, Halaand, foden etc unlike Xavi who is financially at a disadvantage, look at what he did when he had options in the attack Auba, memphis, lewandoski, dembele, adama, now he is stucked with some clueless and tired players and most barca fans want him to win the league and possibly champions league, common this guy is beyond average as a coach, he is a good coach, 

for those people that are criticizing hansi flick that he wouldn't do better than xavi.

i want u to have in mind that we haven't had a couch of that caliber of hansi flick since during the time of luis enrique and valverde. 

after that we had koeman, koeman had his own problems before coming to barcelona and it was evident when barcelona crashed out of the group stage in champions league and ranked ninth in la liga.

now les move to xavi before xavi came to barcelona, he had absolutely no experience as coach in a senior level in top leagues, he only had the barca DNA and thats wat carried him all the way to barca's first la liga title since 2018, xavi's barca would then go on to win the spanish super cup and qualify for back to back seasons. 

again xavi was labeled as a baby coach because he lacked experience.

to me tiki taka has faded, we are going through a change in modern football.

now we have flick someone that comes out from a rich experience and benefited all a club would want and u people will still be criticizing him.

for me the coach is the one who can create a team, develop young players, and create a solid system for the team. the one who can keep teaching and come up with new playing styles. a coach who can react quickly to games development and ready to come up with quick solutions.. this is the type of a coach that I want for my team

I think people should forget abt the idea of barca DNA , thus system of tiki taka or passing the ball ,all the teams doing it but they can't keep it every time bcz they losing everything bcz of of believing something already expired,,even real Madrid if u check nicely sometimes they play tiki taka, but depending which team are they playing with, further more they mixture with theirs cound attacking system , our team lacks 

aggressiveness, players are not strong, u can c them on champions League ,tiki taka distroying them, bcz they don't want to run bcz they are saying the ball must run not u
