Barca president confirms club's plan for Felix and Cancelo

“We want both Joao Félix and Joao Cancelo to stay, Deco’s working on it," Barcelona president Joan Laporta declared in his chat with Barca ONE studios.

"Felix’s quality is something excellent, I’m happy with his season. Hansi Flick previously wanted Felix at Bayern,” Laporta added.

Felix was partly a benchwarmer at Barca in the second half of the season but you could argue that Barca didn't want his value to keep going up. The attacker scored 10 goals and 6 assists in his 44 appearances.

As for Cancelo, the defender was inconsistent in some games but remains an experienced player that adds some quality and depth to the team.
