Just minutes before halftime, Ilkay Gundogan took a brutal tackle from Ryan Porteous, who came in hard with both legs.
It looked like a potentially career-ending moment for the veteran midfielder.
However, after some medical attention, Gundogan amazingly got back into the game.
Porteous was rightly sent off with a red card, leaving Scotland down a player for the entire second half and giving the Bundesteam a penalty that Kai Havertz later converted.
After the match, speaking to the press, the Barcelona midfielder calmed everyone down, saying:
"I'm fine, my ligament wasn't affected. Besides, I've had worse before."
