It's Bryan Zaragoza, remember him? The Spanish winger gave Ronald Araujo and Jules Kounde all kinds of nightmares when Barcelona faced Getafe last season.
Perhaps Barca's attention was aroused after that game as Zaragoza claims.
"I spoke with Barca,” Zaragoza told Jijantes FC.
“There was a possibility but nothing was finalized, but what was said in the press was true. Before signing with Bayern there were conversations with Barca," the winger adds.
Zaragoza was available for just €13m but Barca opted not to pay the fee, Bayern didn't hesitate.
Sadly for Zaragoza, his move to Bayern last winter didn't go as well as planned. He arrived in a foreign country where he couldn't speak the language and struggled badly.
Zaragoza played just seven Bundesliga games in a span of six months and failed to get on the scoresheet.
