In a recent interview, ex-Barcelona midfielder Arturo Vidal talked about his time at Juventus.
Apart from other stuff, he also named the best midfield in the history of football. And it's not Xavi-Iniesta-Busquets, as you may have thought.
"Together with me, Pogba, Pirlo, and Marchisio, we formed the best midfield in the history of football, even better than Xavi-Busquets-Iniesta."
It goes without saying that Arturo was mocked for this choice by the fans:
"4 midfielders, yet no Champions League or six trophies in a season.. Arturo Vidal, please make your argument make sense."
"The fact that he had to bring the other trio from Barcelona into the conversation unprovoked shows that they (Xavi-Iniesta-Busi) are the standard for measurement"
