Paolo Vanoli has confirmed that he will remain as Spartak Moscow manager despite Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
The Italian coach said: "I can't say anything about other clubs and managers. By myself and by my coaching staff, I can say that we remain.
"We will stay here until the last moment, while there is an opportunity [to continue]. Because we believe that football carries a message of peace."
Russia national team and club have been banned from all FIFA and UEFA competitions, leading to an exodus of foreign coaches and players.
49-year-old Vanoli is perhaps best-known for being Antonio Conte's assistant at Italy national team, Chelsea and Inter Milan.
