'We could lose all three competitions': Bernardo Silva says thinking about Trebles is not realistic

Bernardo Silva has sounded a warning for Manchester City, saying they could lose all three legs of their Treble if they lose focus.

After winning the Premier League, FA Cup, and League Cup last season, City are on track to do it again. With Arsenal and Liverpool both losing on Sunday, City are now at the top of the Premier League table for the first time since November, with only six games left to play.

Silva acknowledges City's strong position but knows that things can change quickly in football, especially after feeling like they were out of contention just a few weeks ago.

He said: "It was obviously a very good weekend for us. We weren't expecting both teams to drop points. Before we didn't depend on ourselves so we had to do our job and wait for them to drop points now the situation has changed a bit because if we do our job properly we win the Premier League."

"I'm happy with the results in the weekend but there is a long way to go. Two weeks ago when we played Arsenal everything looked like it was gone and now everything looks like City are going to win the Premier League. Maybe in two weeks it will change again. That's why football is beautiful."

"You need to be really focused game by game. It's not right to start thinking about Trebles because it's not realistic."

"We have Real Madrid tomorrow, then another tough game against Chelsea in the FA Cup and in one week we could lose all three competitions so we need to be really focused to do our job well and extend this hope for one more week and maybe eventually we will do it again."
