Stefan Ortega stepped in for Ederson in the second half at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium after Ederson collided with Cristian Romero. At that moment, Pep Guardiola’s team was in the lead thanks to Erling Haaland's goal.
Ortega made two crucial saves to maintain City's lead. First, he denied Dejan Kulusevski's close-range shot.
And then stopped Heung-min Son's attempt after Son broke through CIty's defence and entered the box. Ortega Moreno's quick reflexes helped secure the victory for Guardiola's team.
After the match, Rodri praised Ortega for his heroics: "Stefan was just simply incredible. One-nil up if they scored we were out. [He made] outstanding three saves, I have no words."
