Atalanta have won the Europa League by beating Bayer Leverkusen 3-0 in the final.
From the get-go, the Italian side were vastly superior, with Ademola Lookman easily being the Man of the Match with a hat-trick.
For Bayer, this means no treble and the end of their unbeaten streak in all competitions, which lasted 51 games since May 2023.
This is Atalanta's first trophy since 1963 when they won Coppa Italia, which had actually been their only major trophy until today. To give even more credit to their excellent achievement, remember that they also beat Liverpool 3-0 at Anfield on their way to the final.
