Big Sam has not shared an opinion on whether Jurgen Klopp's side will be able to win the Champions League.
Speaking about the upcoming clash between Liverpool and Porto, Allardyce told the People magazine: "No opponent is easy at this stage but Liverpool have got the easiest of the ties.
"They’ll go through – and to the final in my eyes - because Jurgen Klopp has learned how to win ugly as well as flamboyantly… and they have defensive giant Virgil van Dijk."
Allardyce is known as one of those who constantly criticise Liverpool regardless of the result. Even in this prediction, he has taken a slight swipe on the Reds saying they were lucky to get the weakest quarter-final opponent possible.
But you can see even Big Sam is impressed by the Reds this season. Liverpool have become a team capable of winning when everything is against them. They get the three points not only when their front three are on fire but when they are somewhat shy in front of goal.
Allardyce was also right to highlight Virgil van Dijk who has become Liverpool's key player and is expected to stop the Portuguese side from getting a goal at Anfield on Tuesday.
