Former Premier League defender Jason Cundy believes Bournemouth's Ryan Fraser would be a perfect match for Liverpool as he's exactly the type of player to provide a sufficient back-up for Mo Salah or Sadio Mane.
"I think, he [Fraser] is exactly the sort of player that Liverpool need if one of those players out wide, whether it be Mane, whether it be Salah, [is injured or unavailable]", Cundy said on talkSPORT as quoted by Inside Futbol.
"He's got the raw minerals actually to step in. He's quick with the ball, travels with it, he's got brilliant delivery.
"I can see it. I mean, it's a no-brainer, as far as I can see.
"Certainly the price tag won't be expensive and he can sign for four to five years and they'll still have a residue value on him. So, it makes perfect sense for me."
Such a description might remind the Reds fans of a player that is already at Klopp's disposal - Xherdan Shaqiri. However, the Swiss international still can not gain his optimal form this season as he continues to suffer from minor injuries.
Anyway, rumours involving Fraser have reemerged recently and as it was reported that Ryan could join Liverpool as a part of a swap deal which would see Harry Wilson seal a permanent move to the Cherries in January.
However, several reputable sources including James Pearce have trashed these rumours.
