Rumours about Liverpool being in 'advanced talks' to sigh Bournemouth star Ryan Fraser are not true. That's according The Athletic's James Pearce who was asked to comment on the news on Twitter.
James' answer was brief and simple: "I've been told that it's not true".
The rumour was spread earlier today by talkSPORT's Alex Crook who suggested Fraser could join Liverpool as part of a swap deal which would see Harry Wilson seal a permanent move to the Cherries in January.
"My understanding is Jurgen Klopp is lining up a surprise move for Ryan Fraser. He is out of contract next summer and that means effectively Bournemouth have to sell him in January," Crook said.
"If you had sold him last summer you were talking about £20-25 million but now you are talking about the £10-15 million mark."
This season is not as good as the previous one for Andy Robertson's compatriot: Ryan Fraser has registered just one goal and two assists in 11 outings.
