Liverpool midfielder Pedro Chirivella reveals the Reds' officials have been discussing a return to group training in the middle of May aiming to restart the Premier League season in June.
"We have been told that until mid-May we will train separately," the Spaniard said at an online conference organised by the Valencian Football Federation.
"Then three or four weeks training with the group and if we can, we could play in June."
The 22-year-old has registered 12 youth and 7 senior appearances this season, scoring one goal and providing 3 assists overall.
Chirivella has been at Liverpool since 2013 but failed to become a regular member of the senior squad and is set to leave this summer on contract expiry. Just like with other potential free agents, his deal with the Reds is likely to be extended until the actual end of the season.
