It has been almost a year since the Reds became the kings of Europe and won the Champions League title in Madrid.
Virgil van Dijk, who was instrumental during that historic run, recalls the night and the events that followed after the team beat Tottenham Hotspur and lifted the big trophy.
Speaking to Sky Sports, the centre-back said: "Winning the Champions League was surreal.
"I slept only one hour after, then we went straight back to Liverpool after that and then we went on the parade. I couldn't keep my eyes open; I was so tired, but it was an unbelievable night, something I will never forget."
He adds: "It was just incredible, from start to finish, it's something we all want to experience again, whether it's in the Premier League or next season in the Champions League.
"We will try and go again. Hopefully, we can experience something similar in the future."
We hope the same, Virgil. A Premier League trophy is just on the horizon, and we want to see this team win a few more major trophies before the towering centre-back has to call it a day.
