Hungary is the first country in Europe to allow fans into a stadium... and have them flout the social distancing rules

At a time when social distancing has become the new normal, about 10,000 fans in Hungary broke all the rules as they celebrated Budapest Honved's cup final win against Mezokovesd Zsory, reports the Daily Mail.

Djordje Kamber's goal sealed the victory and he was seen leading the celebrations using a megaphone.

Hungary has become the first country to reopen stadiums to the fans since the global health crisis resulting in the shutdown to the football industry.

The organizers have pledged to keep a distance of three seats between supporters and they cannot be seated behind or in front of another.

However, those present showed little constraints as they indulged in wild celebrations to honour the OTP Bank Liga's side's eighth cup triumph.

The Hungarian Football Association reminded fans about social distancing guidelines before the game but they have completely ignored the rules. This behaviour by the Hungarian fans raises questions over potentially allowing fans into stadiums before an anti-coronavirus vaccine is mass-produced.

Football is slowly returning across Europe, with the Bundesliga leading the way. They have not allowed fans back into stadiums and some clubs come up with interesting solutions to imitate the stadium atmosphere.

The Premier League is also expected to resume on June 17 and for now, all games will be held behind closed doors.
