Arsenal prodigy Bukayo Saka might leave the Emirates, with Liverpool named among the youngster's possible destinations. Mikel Arteta has opened up on the 18-year-old's future.
"We are trying, as a club, to finalise the deals that are more urgent and are a priority for us," the 38-year-old told the Gunners' official website.
"The ones you are talking about [Bukayo and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang] – they are both really important, not just for now but for the future of the club as well and if the club has something to announce, they will do it in the right moment."
Saka has been linked with an exit from Arsenal as his contract at the Emirates runs out on 30 June 2021. The Gunners are working on tying the youngster down to a new long-term deal.
However, the Arsenal Academy is expected to consider offers from other clubs if Arteta's side fail to secure a spot in a European competition this season.
Deployed at left-back, left wing-back and even left winger, the 18-year-old has made 29 appearances across all competitions for the Gunners this term, scored 3 goals and provided 9 assists.
