If last night's Premier League title victory wasn't enough, here's another fact to make your day even better - Liverpool are now the English club with the most major honours.
Last night's title win pushes the Reds over their arch-rivals Manchester United as the most trophy-laden club in the history of English football.
Major honours are counted as season-long competitions (Charity/Community Shield and UEFA Super Cup not included), and no one-off competitions are tallied towards the total.
European trophies include the European Cup/Champions League, Cup Winners’ Cup, UEFA Cup/Europa League and Inter-Cities Fairs Cup. Only top flight league titles are counted as major honours.
Manchester United have won 42 major trophies. These include 20 league titles, 12 FA Cups, 5 League Cups, 3 European Cups/Champions League title, 1 Cup Winners’ Cup, and 1 UEFA Cup/Europa League.
Liverpool now have 43 major honours to their name - 19 league titles, 8 League Cups, 7 FA Cups, 6 European Cups/Champions League, and 3 UEFA Cup/Europa League.
Sir Alex Ferguson said back in 2011 when Manchester United won their 19th league title, overtaking Liverpool's tally back then: "‘My greatest challenge was knocking Liverpool right off their f*****g perch. And you can print that."
Well, we may not have 21 league titles yet, but we did manage to knock the Red Devils off their f*****g perch here!
