"They [Liverpool] have incredible talent and there’s history at their club, so we are well aware of the challenge, but we are looking forward to it. Everyone has a weakness somewhere, we just have to find it," Lincoln City striker Tom Hopper told his club's official website.
"We have a strong squad, it’s a case of if you are out, we have someone there who can step in and do a good job," he added. "We are in a great position, we have healthy competition, if you’re on the pitch you want to play well to keep the shirt.
"I think we have a good buzz about the place because of the way we have started, we are really close as a group and we are enjoying our football. We want to keep improving and that is how we will continue."
Lincoln have the right to be optimistic about their form: they've won each official game since the start of the season, and this five-game run includes a 5-0 hammering of Bradford City in the previous Carabao Cup round.
There's no doubt that Liverpool will take the League One side seriously but still, it is a perfect opportunity to rest some of the key players and give a chance to those who are eager to show their quality.
