Liverpool are set to face Arsenal at Anfield on Thursday evening in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup.
Joel Matip, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Jordan Henderson, Kostas Tsimikas and Thiago Alcantara are basically ruled out of the game.
Yesterday we asked you to pick the Reds' best starting XI for the clash from 2 options. Here's what you answered.
- REDS ETERNAL: "OPTION 2, offers a good mix of experience, youth, and freshness considered as key by PepL. With the improved squad quality, i hope the Reds Champions would seriously compete for the domestic cups as well. COYR!"
- bigtone: "Give Fab a rest just in case he has to play CB or cm play Milner Curtis and Shaq in mid then Jota Elliot and Minamino up top."
- Steve Tines: "Option 2 it is. Balanced with experienced players and youngsters. Like the front three. They've got some quality and are easier to showcase their football, in cup tournament most likely. Expecting Jota to repeat a goal again. midfield is strong with attack and to hold, won't be easy to break them. Defence seems solid, even though I would prefer another young CB. Hopefully Neco can shut hater's mouth in this game."
- Braz: "For me option 1 or 2 but we need to win and take all the trophys this season all of them now that would be nice i know we are not into Mickey mouse cups we go for the big ones witch we can win . it would be nice a clean sweep of all the English cups . come on you reds!"
- Stephen Appletone: "I like the 2nd option because it puts Origi in the middle where I think is his natural position . Fingers crossed!"
All in all, most of you, guys, would like to see the following starting XI against Arsenal.
Predicted Liverpool XI to face Arsenal: Adrian; Williams, Gomez, Van Dijk, Milner; Jones, Wijnaldum, Shaqiri; Minamino, Origi, Jota
