"He’s a very confident individual. He knows his ability," Kidderminster Harriers manager Russell Penn told Sky Sports of Rhys Williams. "I can only go as Kidderminster manager he knew how good he was at our level.
"You get very shy teenagers who are scared around the first-team environment but looks embraced by it all. He looks the part; he looks like the next Van Dijk and he’s performing like it as well."
Part of the Liverpool Academy since the age of 10, Williams went on loan to the National League side Kidderminster last season.
After playing in the 6th tier of English football, Rhys came back to Liverpool and has already made 4 appearances for the first team this campaign, including 2 whole League Cup games, a one-minute cameo against Ajax and 60 minutes against Midtjylland.
