Relationship and marriage to John Henry
Linda met John Henry in 2006. Reportedly, Henry was immediately taken with her but she refused his advances as he was twice her age and her parents were against the relationship!
Eventually, however, they became a couple and Linda's parents agreed to let Henry marry her.
The two got married in 2009 - Linda was 30 at the time, and Liverpool's soon-to-be-owner was 59. Despite the age difference, they've enjoyed a successful marriage, work on several businesses together and also have 2 children.

Interestingly, while the businesswoman has been deeply invested in Liverpool's business since her husband's takeover of the club in 2010, she only got her own limited partner shares in 2017. Maybe she should have been given them sooner and Anfield would've been bigger now!
Contributions and work in Boston
She's the managing director of the Boston Globe - an American newspaper which Henry bought back in 2013 for $70 million. Linda has done a great job for the newspaper, with 4 Pulitzer Prize winners emerging under her management.
The 42-year-old is also a founder of a few charities and startup investment funds in the Boston area. Because of her contribution to Boston, its people, and its institutions, she was rewarded with recognition on Boston Magazine’s list of “Most Influential Movers and Shakers” in 2018.
Other work
Linda has served as an executive movie producer for a few movies, including a documentary called CodeGirl in 2015.
She has also introduced two flagship festivals – GlobeDocs, a documentary film festival, and HUBweek, geared towards highlighting and celebrating cultural and industrial institutions in the Boston area. Clearly, she's very interested in the world of cinema.
More than Liverpool, she is involved in the running of Major League Baseball team Boston Red Sox, which Henry and FSG also own. Majorly, she is in charge of the area of producing sports TV programming.
