'I want to prove something to the people': Karius opens up on his conditioning and future plans

Loris Karius has returned to Liverpool after an unimpressive loan spell in the Bundesliga with Union Berlin and the goalkeeper has opened up on his plans for the future.

Karius told Bild, “I want to prove something to myself and the people. I am extremely hungry and motivated.

“I think I am physically better than ever. I have made well over 200 top division appearances in my career and I have international experience.

“I neither have to be developed nor need to adapt, everything that I do is firmly established. I do not need time to get up to speed.”

Loris Karius is now 28 years of age and the process of finding a club to take him on permanently has proved to be a daunting one so far.

Following the downward spiral that came along with his horrific Champions League performance, Liverpool should be aiming to offload Karius to a club permanently so that he can revive his career.
