Fabrizio Romano confirms Liverpool NOT in race for Locatelli (reliability: 5 stars)

Throughout this entire window, Liverpool have been linked with every possibly available midfielder.

Thanks to his excellent Euro campaign, Italy's Manuel Locatelli is a name that has popped up a number of times as someone the Reds can pursue.

However, reliable journalist Fabrizio Romano has now confirmed that Liverpool are not involved in the race for the Sassuolo man.

Locatelli instead looks likely to stay in Italy but move to giants Juventus, with club executive Pavel Nedved confident they will get their man.

Saul Niguez and Renato Sanches still remain possibilities but as of right now, there are no concrete links for the Reds to any player.
