Norway and Netherlands faced one another in a World Cup qualifier pitting Erling Haaland and Virgil van Dijk against one another.
The striker managed to score but the game ended in a draw, with Van Dijk also getting a word in a number of times.
Now it seems VVD dislocated his finger during the game while battling Haaland, with the Dortmund man revealing he has no idea how that happened.
Haaland said to TV2: “I actually snapped his finger on him. I do not know how it happened. He just said ‘f***ing hell, you broke my finger.
“He’s good, so to speak. I have no idea how I snapped his finger. That’s just the way it is.”
Well it seems the youngster owes Virgil now and what better repayment than joining his club soon and helping them to the biggest trophies!
