Mohamed Salah has scored 15 goals in 12 games this season, failing to find the net in just one game that he played in.
Unfortunately, that does not seem to move the needle in terms of his Ballon d'Or chances. Lionel Messi, Robert Lewandowski and, to an extent, Jorginho remain the frontrunners for the award this year.
Okay, the performances in the first part of the year (i.e. the second half of the last season) carry more weight. However, even that hardly justifies Goal ranking Salah at 18th(!) place.
Their latest instalment features players like Cristiano Ronaldo, Romelu Lukaku, Harry Kane, Mason Mount, Neymar - all of them are ranked ahead of Salah.
