Adrian has received a lot of criticism across his Liverpool career and had been relegated to the 3rd goalkeeper since the Aston Villa loss last season.
However, the Spaniard started in goal last night in the Carabao Cup against Preston North End as Caoimhin Kelleher was absent due to an illness.
Adrian performed really well as he made two big saves to help keep a clean sheet. After the game, the keeper posted on his Twitter:
