It was not the most memorable Liverpool performance last night as the Reds cruised to a 0-2 win at 

 scored one of the most casual wonder-goals you will ever see. 

The Belgian forward flicked the ball into the back of the net in a Scorpion kick motion - that was his 11th goal in the competition. Take a look at the strike below:

As per Squawka, Origi has 11 goals in 15 appearances in the League Cup. Out of these, he has started only 10 games.

Origi's only Liverpool hat-trick also came in this competition when he scored three past

for his position role in club he is good enough actually and what u say is not true.. fans like you who think we can sign a great a much better striker and he sit on bench as much as origi is  just not being realistic.  he is good for this role. only thing better is a younger up and coming player.   but u don't go out and buy a player for 50 mil to sit on ur bench as much as origi.     u fill that position within  or keep origi.  simple as that.   but I'm sure someone like u thinks we should sign inaki Williams and they will just sit on our bench like origi.  😂.

Where in my comment does it say anything about signing some 50 mil player, i said he's not good enough for LFC and he fuckin isn't you divvy cunt, he wouldn't get in any other top side so why should he be in ours he does absolutely nothing when he gets chance so damn right he needs replacing, it doesn't have to be a 50 million pound player it just needs to be someone who actually makes a fuckin effort.

1 good goal once in a blue moon does not cut it for me he did absolutely nothing the whole game and this was against a team in the bottom half of the championship, he's not good enough for LFC he needs to go and get regular football somewhere else plain and simple.

Outstanding goal from Origi, but unconvincing performance throughout the match.  May be he was not lucky because the whole team was distracted specially in the first half time, but he should have performed better.  Preston were more dangerous on our goal, they were more attached and disciplined and would have scored twice, thanks to Adrian who was there at the right time and location.  As for out front line, they were there and actually not there.

If we want to go further in the competition, Klopp should add some elements of experience in the starting formation together with some youngsters who showed convincing performance.

A big question mark is the performance of the back line specially Matip and Gomez who were not in agreement together and were not in their best.  Despite they didn’t play Man United game.  Nat Philips did partner well with Gomez in the second half.

On another front, Chamberlain, I believe his most powerful assets is the long shots from outside the box.  He used it once, only once during the 90 min.  He was not convincing at all, and looked distracted and failed to link with the front line.  why?
