Asked again if the defender should have been sent off, Klopp snapped saying:  "My god, I'm not your puppy. Hopefully, you have an opinion yourself. All good."

Klopp has a history of snapping at reporters, having gotten into quite a heated row with Des Kelly last season. 

The manager was clearly frustrated by the game and will be plotting for the Reds to get back to winning ways right after the international break.

The refereeing was definitely not up to the mark today but the Reds should have won the game regardless.

no excuse we lost we have played far better than what we played today if we have played like this against Atletico it would have been more than 5 goals we just need to focus more

I wouldn’t blame this on the defense. Sure Robbo and Matip were poor and Trent kept getting burnt, but the midfield were shocking today. No control on the game whatsoever and couldn’t track back to save their life. Obviously injuries have sucked but it wasn’t good enough for the midfielders. We were lucky to even score twice, a free kick and a good touch and half volley made the score line make this game closer than it was. Hopefully we can bounce back in the winter period.

Hi Jo, Yes I agree with you to a certain extent, but having played from the age of 5 to 45 I get really pissed off with all this pushing, shoving, holding and scrimmage in the 6 yard box, that is not skillful football, and it his got much worse since so many Italian and Spanish players and managers have come into the E.P.L. over the years.

Robo has been poor all season but Klopp keeps selecting him ahead of Tsimikas. We all saw what Tsimikas did against Atletico. 

If Klopp is not bold enough to take some strong decisions, another team is going to beat us like the way Villa did last season. Players need to be selected based on form, not name. 

The blame should go to Klopp.

Raymond I agree entirely, Tsimikas is more attacking and maybe not as defensively strong as Robbo but for this season he has been a lot less frustrating to watch. Jurgen needs to look at Chelsea and how they stuck with the back up (Alonso) even after Chilwell had recovered and how that payed off well.

that's twice this sort of tackle has gone unpunished, next one could ruin someone's life, refs need to be brought to justice, there not up to the task.

yeah true and the players might think about doing it again and think they will get away with it. this matter should be taken seriously before things get ugly especially if the victim from the tackle could suffer horrible and ugly injuries.

refree this game is just shocking. we need more ruthless and strict refrees. this ref is too lenient which is actually bad.people will think tht how on earth you got away with red with tht horrific tackle.
