'I didn't see it': Klopp responds to claims of Salah's dive in West Ham loss

When asked about whether he felt that Mo Salah dived to win the free-kick resulting in Trent Alexander-Arnold’s goal vs West Ham, Jurgen Klopp said: “I didn’t see it, sorry.

“Now that you mention it now, I didn’t see it in that moment. I didn’t see it back. Of all the decisions today if that was the most wrong decision from the referee, it would be really funny.

“But I don’t know. For me it was a free-kick, but maybe I should’ve seen the situation once more.”

Salah was fouled by Declan Rice leading up to the free-kick. On a closer glance, it seemed like a slight touch had been made, which means Liverpool deserved the free-kick.

The referee had an awful outing in the game as he decided against sending off Aaron Cresswell for a baffling challenge on Jordan Henderson. Klopp also criticized the poor refereeing which played a part to end LFC’s 25-match unbeaten streak.
