Newcastle interested in January loan move for Origi - Klopp's stance on transfer revealed (reliability: 4 stars)

As per the Northern Echo, Newcastle United are interested in a January loan move for Divock Origi.

Chief director Amanda Staveley reportedly feels that Origi would like to kickstart his career with a 5-month loan spell with the Saudi-owned club.

However, as per the same report, Jurgen Klopp will shut down any bid that arrives Origi's way in January.

Liverpool have 'no intention' to let the striker leave in January. The reasons for this haven't been revealed in the report.

However, we can assume that the club wants to keep him especially for January (and possibly February), when Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane will be off for international duty at the AFCON.
