'We footballers dream of days like this': Diaz sends message to fans after landing in Liverpool

Luis Diaz landed in Liverpool yesterday and was greeted by Jurgen Klopp and Pepjin Ljinders at the AXA Training Centre.

Liverpool's latest signing sent out a message to the fans after he settled down in his new city:

The captain translates to: "Today I began to live a new chapter of that dream that we footballers have when we start, to dress like a great. And how much honour it feels to wear the LFC shirt! Excited for what is to come and very grateful for receiving me with such good energy. We are reds!"

Diaz is a very welcome addition to the team. With him on the bench now, the Reds have amazing squad depth and we can't wait to see the Colombian international in action soon.
