Elliot labels his new Champions League record 'crazy'

The Beeb caught up with Harvey Elliot and asked him about his new record as Liverpool's youngest player ever to start in a Champions League game.

"Yeah it’s a crazy experience,” the midfielder said in his chat with the BBC.

“To play at San Siro is one thing and to start the Champions League game and to play and obviously the boys to get the win it topped it off really.

“It’s a moment me and my family will remember,” Elliot added.

Elliot broke the record for Liverpool's youngest ever starter he when he started the game against Inter Milan in Italy, with Liverpool winning 2-0 on the night.

The record was previously held by Trent Alexander-Arnold.
