Liverpool create all-time record after Tsimikas' assists against Benfica

Kostas Tsimikas was adjudged man of the match last night for his performance against Benfica, where he assisted two goals in the 3-3 draw.

As per statistician Simon Brundish, these were the 38th and 39th assists made by a fullback this season for the Reds, the highest by any club on record.

Trent Alexander-Arnold has 16 assists this season, with Andy Robertson having 13. Tsimikas has six, with Neco Williams and Joe Gomez having two each.

Liverpool's fullbacks are known to be their main creative generals but to make an all-time record in the process is truly amazing!
