Adam Lallana sends message to Liverpool as Brighton hope to 'upset' Man City on Wednesday

"It's wide open. It's a great year in the Premier League," Brighton midfielder Adam Lallana told Sussex Express.

"There's tough teams week in week out. We are one of them [and have caused] upsets this year against big teams.

"Hopefully we can get one more on Wednesday night against City for my old team."

Brighton have already taken points off Liverpool this season as they drew 2-2 at Anfield back in October, so the Reds would appreciate it if the Seagulls did the same to their rivals in the title race.

Of course, it's nice to hear that Lallana still cares about Liverpool even though he did not play as often as he would've liked in the final few years of his spell on Merseyside.
