The Reds are apparently not planning to sign a new midfielder this summer so Jurgen Klopp has to get creative to keep getting results.

A Liverpool fan Michael McMahon has suggested a formation change that would ease the burden on the midfielders.

"We could always play 3-4-3, would only need 2 midfielders," Michael writes on Tribuna. 

"Ali; Gomez, Matip, VVD; Trent, Hendo, Fabinho, Robbo; Salah, Nunez, Diaz. Looks unbeatable to me?"

Adding to that you are suggesting 4 attackers. Arriving 70 mins of game, there will be no other first choice attacker to bring on, because they're all in and risk of injury becomes high by playing all of them at one time. If one of them get injured we are done.

taa drifts into midfield anyway  during any game  the formation changes alot you see Bobby defending apart from Diaz who always goes deep to help defence to get loose balls then find front runners . you can't tell when the ball is going to be but age helps cos You've seen it all before and like Lucas You're nearly always right reading the game .

Would be great to see him in midfield only without the need to defend and Gomez cover the  RB.

This was my call since long, bring TAA in midfield and Gomez RB. We need to give it a try, but I think it will be awesome.

Agree, 3 CB will open up space and we gonna see the ball in our net more often.
