Andy Robertson ruled out of two big matches -- Klopp confirms

Andy Robertson has been ruled out of Liverpool's big game against Ajax in the Champions League and against Chelsea in the Premier League next week.

The defender picked up a knee injury in the game against Napoli last week.

Confirming the sad news, Jurgen Klopp said: “Robbo now is not 100 per cent. [He felt something] Very late, 93rd or whatever minute - actually he felt it the next day only. But yeah, he is out for at least, I would say, after the international break.”

Liverpool's two biggest games before the international break are against Ajax and Chelsea -- if there are no postponements.

The Scottish left-back is expected to return to match fitness in October. Kostas Tsimikas will hold the fort in his absence.
