This has sparked fears among some fans that 

’s future as the Reds' manager might be under threat.

Addressing these concerns, Fabrizio Romano wrote for CaughtOffside: “I understand Liverpool fans will be concerned, but Jurgen Klopp is safe at the moment

“He’s 100% working with the club for present and future.”

Klopp only had his contract last year and is contracted to stay at Liverpool until 2026. 

FSG are unlikely to let him go after a few poor results and even if they sell the club soon, the new owners are likely to keep him as the best man for the job to help the Reds get back to the top.

A former analyst for The Athletic, Umir, has given a thorough analysis of why 

 spell of dominance at Anfield might be over once and for.

In a lengthy Twitter thread, he tweeted: “De Zerbi's Brighton is a beautiful outfit but Klopp's Liverpool's performances this season have been far worse than the squad he has. This isn't an 8W 4D 6L squad and worse these performances haven't been good enough. There's a tactical inflexibility at the level of management.

“To succeed with Klopp, you need players that can carry out his instructions as he’s not tactically flexible (individually brilliant forwards on intuition, elite high line CBs and three engine CMs). Requires big investment and good scouting. No Edwards + little investment, harsh.

“To succeed otherwise, you need another coach who can utilise the current crop of players. That coach has to be tactically innovative or have a base philosophy that suits those players (perhaps a more transitional game?)

“Pick one of those two options. The problem with sticking with Klopp and banking on big investment giving him an elite cohort that suits him, is that I personally don’t think striking gold is likely again (Mane, Firmino, Salah, Gini, Robbo) esp with a different recruitment team.

“And FSG don’t invest massively anyways. Liverpool were carried by over performing recruitment/scouting team. Changing coach makes more logistical sense even if it’s sadder. A different coach might better use Nunez, Gakpo, Diaz and co. New methods reintroduce motivation too.”

It’s clear that the Reds need reinforcements, especially in midfield to start competing for major trophies again and get back to the top of English football. It remains to be seen if FSG makes more investments in January or leaves the next part of investment for the new owners.

let me re phrase reds.. i felt a little sorry for Cody gapko yesterday..most of the team..bar trent(goal line clearance/cody(our bestchance)/robbo(had more heart than most).allison can't do it all himself..still troubled by Joe gomez little cameo..still believe taa should be in mf..thoughts reds?✌

Why has jurgen not gone to 3 centre halves with fab holding midfield. Yesterday there was atleast 4 occasions when there was 3 attackers against 2 defenders . We need to start being hard to beat again . Right now this defence is shocking . We keep on giving opponents the first goal which makes it hard , then we always give them more chances . Come on jurgen time for a change 🙏

explain why klopp bought 2 forwards when everyone else could see its 2 midfielders we need klopp.is weak tactically and because he's stubborn he will keep playing that high line most of our problems stem from that problem because our 3 midfielders no longer have the legs to close down the opposition team are playing I pass and playing right through us it's so easy its embarrassing and no matter how many of u  keep backing klopp which is all well and good showing loyalty but when a manager is exposed tactically as klopp is now in the end there's only 1 outcome in this situation and that is klopp will either be given a new assistant hopefully someone who can help him tactically especially with the defence work if he does not agree to this I think John Henry will sack him and with rumours of a take over next month in the pipeline new owners won't put up with klopps tendency to buy injured players and keep giving them new contracts so all in all  the outcome for klopp looks bad he's now going to pay the price for backing keita chamberlain thiago Henderson and Joe Gomez those are all first team players who's time at Liverpool is over klopp by being stubborn and hanging on to those players will now pay the ultimate price he will be sacked next week or next month its only a matter of time because I guarantee u when the chips are really down those players will not show klopp the same loyalty he's shown  them and its the manager who will pay for the bad results not the players that's the way football is
